ANALISIS PEDESTRIAN PADA RUAS JALAN SAMUDRA DI KAWASAN PANTAI MUARA LASAK KOTA PADANG

Abstract

Pedestrian paths are a place or space for pedestrians to carry out activities and to provide smooth, safe and comfortable services for pedestrians.The development of the tourism area in the city of Padang, especially on Jalan Samudra, in the coastal area of Muaro Lasak,has a high economic opportunity for the city of Padang. This can be proven since the last two years, the Padang beach area has had significant changes. So that tourists and local tourism enthusiasts tobe able to visit the city of Padang it self can increase. The objectives in writing this study are: To analyze pedestrian needs and pedestrian volume on Jalan Samudra and to obtain the effective width of the sidewalk and layout designpedestrian facility based on the analysis of the maximum volume of pedestrians on the Ocean road, Muaro Lasak Beach area in Padang City.

The research results obtained that the maximum maximum volume in the Muaro Lasak beach area is on Sundays at 17.00-18.00, namely 815 people / hour / m. The average volume per hour is 60 people /hour / m. The effective width of the sidewalk for pedestrians is based on the average volume per hour at the peak interval of 3 meters. The level of sidewalk service obtained with a value of v = 18 people / hour / meter is the level of sidewalk service. Level Of Service B.
