Abstract

This study aims to determine the Improvement of Student Learning Outcomes on Science Learning through the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model in Class IV SD Kartika 1-12 Kecamatan Padang

This Classroom Action Research was conducted at SD Kartika 1-12 which is located near the Imam Bonjol Padang field, Padang Selatan District. The subjects in this study were grade 1V students in SD Kartika 1-12 Kecamatan Padang Selatan with, this type of research is a classroom action research using a qualitative approach.

From student learning outcomes can be seen from the average value of students from a base score of 5.1 increasing in the first cycle to 6.0. Purchasing learning is considered complete if the results obtained are below 75% and for this research is continued in cycle II. It turned out that the action in the second cycle had increased by 7.5. this is evidence of the conduct of research carried out in SD Kartika 1-12 Subdistrict Padang Selatan City of Padang.
