The background of this research is the low learning scores of students at SDN 53 Kuranji. Because in the learning process teachers often use the lecture method in learning According to Kemmis and Mc Taggar (in Ritawati Mahyuddin, 2007: 69) the classroom action research process is a recycling process or cycle that starts from the aspects: developing plans, taking actions according to plans, observing actions, and reflecting, namely contemplation of planning, action activities and the success of the results obtained From the results of the research analysis in the second cycle 75% and the average grade 7.5. Based on the results of the observations in the second cycle, the implementation of the second cycle was good and the teacher was successful in improving student learning outcomes in learning about the development of communication technology and the experience of using it using the STM approach for fourth grade students at SDN 53 Kuranji.
