This research is motivated by the fact that student learning outcomes are low, therefore the purpose of this study is to describe learning planning, implementation of learning, to be able to improve student learning outcomes in reducing the denominated fraction is not the same as the NHT type cooperative learning model in class IV SD 35 Padang. Sarai. This research is a classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. The research flow consisted of 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were teachers and fourth grade students. The research instrument was in the form of information about the observation sheet on planning, implementation, and student test sheets at the end of each cycle. The results showed that the lesson plan planning in cycle I was 69.64% with sufficient criteria to be 92.85% with very good criteria in cycle II. The results of the implementation of teacher learning cycle I was 68.75%, the criteria was enough to be 90.62% with very good criteria in the second cycle. The results of the implementation of student learning cycle I was 71.89% with good criteria being 87.50% with very good criteria in cycle II. The learning outcomes of the first cycle students were 61.12 with sufficient criteria to be 81.02 with very good criteria in the second cycle. It can be concluded that the NHT type cooperative learning model of reducing the denominated fraction is not the same can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD 35 Padang Sarai
